Kids at Heart Racing 

Koepke scores a 20th place finish at the Downs and a 14th at Vinton

      Welcome to the Kids at Heart web page. The Kids at Heart race team was put together by Bill Keopke who is owner and driver of the sec8onds car. Kids at Heart is based on the theory that we are all just a bunch of kids if we let ourselves be.  This group of "kids" still believes in the dream of racing. Kids at Heart was born out of a bunch of guys who raced a 1976 Monte Carlo owned by Bill Keopke  in the thunder stock  cruiser class at Hawkeye downs in 2003. In 2004 Bill has a new car  and is looking to build on last year experience .

    Kids at Heart #8 is based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We race in the IMCA Hobby Stock class at Hawkeye Downs and Vinton Speedways. This year we are racing a 1981 Buick regal.  With The addition of the IMCA hobby stock class to Hawkeye downs Friday night racing , The sec8onds team hopes to be a competitive force on both dirt and asphalt.
